Finding the right dance environment for your child matters. Our FREE Class Trial gives dancers ages 3–18 the opportunity to experience FE Conservatory firsthand, meet our teaching artists, and get a feel for our training environment before registering.

Please select the class time that corresponds with your dancer's age:
Ages 3–4: Wednesday | 5:00–6:00 PM
Ages 5–6: Thursday | 5:00–6:00 PM
Ages 9–11: Monday | 6:00–7:00 PM
Ages 12-14: Wednesday | 5:00–6:00 PM
Ages 15+ Thursday | 5:00–6:00 PM

Everything You Need to Know
What To Wear
If your dancer already owns dance attire and appropriate dance shoes, they are welcome to wear them to their trial class. If they do not have dance attire yet, dancers should wear all-black, form-fitting clothing that allows them to move comfortably. If they have dance shoes, they may bring them; if not, they should bring socks to dance in. Hair should also be secured and pulled back away from the face. There is no need to purchase new dancewear or shoes before attending a trial class.
How Long Is The Free Trial
Each new dancer is invited to experience one complimentary class at FE Conservatory. Depending on age and level, enrolled dancers may take multiple classes throughout the week, but the free trial is designed to give your dancer an introduction to the FE experience before registering.
When to Arrive
Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled class. This gives your dancer time to get settled, prepare for class, and meet their teaching artist before class begins.
Parents & Guardians
To help our dancers remain focused and fully engaged during class, parents and guardians are not permitted to remain inside the studio during class time. You are welcome to wait in our gallery area throughout your dancer's trial class, and we'll reconnect with you once class has ended.
Class Placement
Your dancer's trial class also gives our teaching team an opportunity to observe them in the classroom and help determine the class and level that will best support their training. Previous dance experience is not required to attend a free trial.
What's Next?
After your dancer completes their trial class, we'll connect with you to talk about their experience, answer any questions, and discuss the classes and level we recommend. If you're ready to join FE Conservatory, we'll then walk you through the next steps to complete registration and get your dancer ready for their first official class.
